About RCEMS RCEMS is a small, rural EMS agency that responds to approximately 2,800 calls annually. Our service operates two staffed ambulances daily, providing local 911 emergency response as well as interfacility transfers from our local hospital. Full-time employees work a 24/48 schedule with designated Kelly days off. We utilize part-time, per diem (PRN) employees to help cover staffing vacancies and maintain adequate coverage. Currently, two shifts per week are reserved for part-time employees to bid on, with additional opportunities becoming available as full-time staff schedule time off. Equipment and Resources RCEMS is committed to providing employees with dependable equipment and resources to deliver quality patient care. Our fleet and equipment include: * LIFEPAK 15 cardiac monitors on all ambulances. * Stryker Power-LOAD systems on all ambulances. * Microsoft Surface Pro on all ambulances. * Two LUCAS mechanical CPR devices that rotate between trucks. * Well maintain fleet of 6 ambulances. Each employee is provided with an individual bunk room equipped with: * A bed * A desk * A television * An individual PTAC heating and air-conditioning unit RCEMS offers a close-knit rural EMS environment, modern patient-care equipment, and individual sleeping quarters designed to provide employees with a comfortable place to rest while on duty.
